Welcome to the Glass Street Kinder website.

Glass Street Kindergarten provides a secure and happy environment for the children in its care.

Offering one 3-4 year old program and two 4-5 year old programs, we aim to instill a sense of worth and assurance in every child as they develop their sense of responsibility, independence and confidence.

Glass Street Kindergarten embraces the Reggio Emilio Approach for nurturing and teaching your children, read more about this approach here.  In its most simple form, it involves adopting the following principles:

°  Children must have some control over the direction of their learning;

° Children must be able to learn through experiences of touching, moving, listening, seeing, and hearing;

° Children have a relationship with other children and with material items in the world that children must be allowed to explore and

° Children must have endless ways and opportunities to express themselves.
