Children thrive in our carefully maintained indoor and outdoor areas, which are rich with resources for play and learning.
Inside, our carefully planned learning spaces are designed and adapted to encourage various ways of interacting with the environment, such as through imaginative play, building challenges, creative projects, peaceful moments, literacy engagement, group interactions, and individual discovery.
Our landscaped playground is nestled in a dense tree canopy providing excellent shade throughout the warmer months. It offers children climbing play, water play, a sandpit, learning garden, cubbyhouse, and seating for outdoor learning.
Renovation 2026
2026 brings an exciting evolution to our premises
Glass Street Kindergarten has been awarded a renovation grant, with works starting in January 2026 and are expected to take up to 9 months.
To make this exciting transformation possible, our kindergarten will operate from Balwyn Leisure Centre, 230 Balwyn Road, Balwyn North.
The space at Balwyn Leisure Centre is fully equipped to cater to our needs and we will continue to have the same caring, play-based program delivered by our experienced and passionate team, in a safe and welcoming setting.
We are excited about the opportunity to be given a beautiful new learning environment.
